For Independent Nikken Consultant:

Collection – When you decide to become an Independent Nikken Consultant, we may have asked for your name, tax identification/social insurance number, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number and credit card information (number, expiration, security code). We only ask for information that is necessary and relevant to establish and maintain your Nikken distributorship account, which includes processing purchase orders.

Use – The information you provided will be used to set up and maintain your Nikken distributorship account for product orders and returns and your Nikken personal web page so that you may operate your own Nikken Business as an Independent Nikken Consultant. Your information will also be used to respond to inquiries and to communicate with you with news about your distributorship account, products, incentives/promotions and opportunities to earn extra income. Your information will also be used to help improve our website and to diagnose problems with software or hardware we use. By providing Nikken with your personal information to establish a Nikken distributorship account, you are consenting to the use of your personal data for said purpose.

For Retail Customers:

Collection – If you decide to purchase Nikken products from an Independent Nikken Consultant personally, an authorized Consultant person web page, which begins with or become a registered retail customer, we may have asked for your name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number, credit card information (number, expiration, security code) and purchase information (product and amount). We only ask for information that is relevant and necessary in order to process your purchase transaction or to set up your registered retail customer account.

Use – The information you provided in a purchase will be used to complete the transaction using our normal retail methods. The information that you provided in becoming registered retail customer will be used for purchase and return transactions as well as communication with you about products and promotions and responding to your inquiries. Your information will also be used to help improve our website and to diagnose problems with software or hardware we use. By providing your information to an Independent Nikken Consultant or to Nikken for product purchasing, you are consenting to the use of your personal data for said purpose.

Currently, Nikken centralizes its record of personal information for its North America market in the U.S. for purposes of Nikken business. However, we may share your personally identifiable information, either for processing or storage, with other companies in the Nikken Group, their employees and agents to administer any accounts, products and services provided to you by the Nikken Group or in the future. Data sent to other companies in the Nikken Group are sent through a Virtual Private Network that uses 3DES encryption. They are either subject to this Privacy Policy or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Policy.

We may be required to disclose your information to the government or third parties under a valid legal request. For example, a criminal investigation or a lawful subpoena may force disclosure. This is true of every business.
